It all started when…
I was in my early 20s working with and learning studio lighting techniques with friends from Brooks Institute of Photography & Film in Santa Barbara, California.
We set up and began to shoot in our tiny Carpinteria, California apartment….…. after sorting thru loads of outfits and working various stylized poses with lighting and backdrop changes we all realized one thing:

I personally have had at least 3 “formal” booked boudoir sessions for myself over the years and each time I view my personal images I feel sexy, confident and empowered. And even though my physical body has changed over the years, and after children I still love and embrace every single photo! Plus who doesn’t want to get hair and makeup done and feel super awesome for a day!??!!
One of my favorite quotes from Audrey Hepburn resides above, but it is Emma Stone who said, “I can’t think of any better representation of BEAUTY than someone who is unafraid to be herself.” - Damn right!
